National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Virtual Library contains the NCJRS Abstracts Database, which includes summaries of criminal justice publications, including federal, state, and local government reports, books, research reports, journal articles, and unpublished research. Subject areas include corrections, courts, drugs, law enforcement, juvenile justice, crime statistics, domestic preparedness, and victims. Some full-text links are included with the abstracts. For more information about NCJRS, see here.

As of February 2021, the NCJRS Abstracts Database has moved to the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) website as part of the Virtual Library. Access to abstracts and resources, as well as library services, remains available through this page. This move streamlines access to OJP's content and services while offering improved Abstracts Database capabilities and enabling future enhancements.
