The Ebook Central (ProQuest) database includes many ebooks that are available for preview. The University Libraries don't currently own these ebooks, but you may suggest the Libraries purchase a title if you think we should add it to our collection. When you suggest a title for purchase, we will review your suggestion and let you know if we add it to the collection, usually within one business day.
To preview a title for up to five minutes, click Read Online or Read This Book on the details page:
If you want to read longer than five minutes or think the Libraries should own the title, click Request or Request This Book on the details page, log in if you are asked to, then submit the Request This Book form:
Alternately, after your five-minute preview has expired, you will be asked to request the book. If you want to keep reading or think the Libraries should own the title, submit the Request This Book form:
If you want to end your preview early but still want to suggest the Libraries purchase the book, click More... below the book information in the Table of Contents to return to the details page from the reader view:
