Libby is a popular mobile app for reading ebooks and listening to audiobooks from OverDrive. For more information about OverDrive, see here.
Follow these instructions to set up the Libby app on your mobile device. These screenshots use the Apple iPhone 7 as an example. Refer to OverDrive's Libby Help page or contact the GSL if you have difficulty following these instructions with your device. To listen to audiobooks in your car with the Libby app, follow Overdrive's instructions for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
- Download the appropriate app for your device. If you have difficulty installing Libby, see the Libby Help page:
- Click Yes when prompted Do you have a library card?
- Click Search For A Library.
- In the search field, type "Georgia Southern," then select Georgia Southern University.
- Click Sign In With My Card, click Next, then click Continue.
- Log in using your MyGS credentials, then click Next.
Once you are set up, you can set additional account preferences and browse and check out books. For additional support using the Libby app, see the Libby Help page.
