Beginning June 2024, you may be prompted to log into the Libraries' databases and online resources using a new Microsoft Sign In form. To use the new form, see the following instructions:
How do I log in using the new form?
If the form appears, follow these instructions to log in:
-
Enter your full Georgia Southern email address (including @georgiasouthern.edu) and click Next.
-
Enter your Georgia Southern email password and click Sign in.
-
Complete dual authentication using Duo.
-
Select whether the device you are using is Personal or Public.
You will then be redirected to the resource.

What should I do if the form says my password is incorrect?
If the form gives you an error message saying that your password is incorrect, try the following things:
- Make sure that your MyGS password has not expired by logging into the MyGS Portal and updating your password if you are prompted to do so. The sign in form may take a while to update with your new password, so try logging in again after an hour or so if your new password does not work immediately.
- Double-check that the password you entered is correct, especially if you use your browser or a password manager like 1Password or LastPass to manage your passwords. Your password manager may be pre-filling an old password.
For more information about logging into the Libraries' electronic resources, see this FAQ post.
