As announced May 27, 2015, the University Libraries follow an elective purchasing plan for new books. This means that the Libraries give first priority to purchasing books requested by Georgia Southern students, faculty and staff, rather than purchasing books through a traditional "approval plan." By requesting books for purchase via GIL-Find and Discover, whether you wish to read them yourself or simply feel they should be added to the collection, you are contributing to the library collection.

To request ON DEMAND books via GIL-Find, see these instructions.
